Scam Warning:
Fake REDIN Studio Accounts
Recently we have discovered several
fake accounts pretending to be
REDIN Studio
, mostly on
TikTok
and sometimes on other platforms.
These accounts steal photos and videos of Protogen heads made by us and other makers, repost them, and pretend that the items are available for sale.
In many cases they even use the
REDIN Studio name or branding
to look more convincing.
Unfortunately, TikTok support often does not react to reports about these accounts.
How the scam works
Scammers run TikTok pages using stolen photos of Protogen heads — sometimes even heads that were already sold or custom-made for someone else.
When people contact them, they offer the item at a
much lower price than the real market value
.
Of course, they have no intention of shipping anything.
Some scammers even use
AI tools to generate
fake “proof photos”
, for example adding a hand holding a sign with text you requested.
Payment methods used by
scammers
Fraudsters usually request payment through:
Cryptocurrency
Money transfers to third-party individuals
Once the payment is sent, they disappear.
Important: how to safely order from REDIN Studio
The safest way to purchase a Protogen made by us is
through our official website
:
redin.studio
Payments on the website are processed through
Stripe
, connected to our official business account.
Cryptocurrency payments are also accepted
only when arranged directly with us
, and they usually include a discount because processing fees are lower.
Orders may also be discussed through our
official social accounts

P.S. If a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is.
